This collection of fluffy rats and other small rodents was on display at a special Tennoji Zoo, Osaka event.
These sporting rats were also at Tennoji Zoo. They are all made out of nuts and placed in athletic pose.

A crystal paper weight with two rats encapsulated within.
Illustrated Black Rat watercolour print from a 1970's Thornburn's Mammals book. These images on this website are fundamentally for the Brown Rat but this makes a fine addition. The artist is Archibald Thornburn (1860 - 1935) and this watercolour is dated 1919. The original image is on a very thin page hence a little text bleed from the other side and weaker colouration.
Ratatouille cup although more like a book sketch than the animated form. |
